Project Management of Churn
Churn is a regular aspect of many organisations' lives. It involves moving people, with or without furniture, to another part of the building. Churn is required to reflect the changing structure of the organisation or to address an increase or a decrease in headcount.
WorkPlace can supply an experienced Project Manager to manage churn for you either regularly or as a one-off assignment anywhere in the UK. Our project managers are all very experienced in moves, furniture, logistics, fit-out and technology.
We understand the importance of communication both to staff who are moving and to the wider team involved in implementing the move. We can provide a full service from planning through implementation to the resolution of any snagging.
We can work with your own removal contractors or suggest others for you to consider. We usually work on an hourly rate but will quote a fixed fee for an assignment if required.
In an organisation where churn is frequent WorkPlace believe that a clear process for planning and implementing the moves should be developed as a template. Then all moves can be managed to this template and everyone involved is clear on the steps and the communication process. We can provide you with consultancy to develop this process so that your organisation can manage churn successfully with either internal or external resources.
Churn involves updating drawings and amending records of furniture stocks. It also may involve disposal or recycling of furniture that is no longer required. We can advise on, and assist you with, all these aspects of churn.
