Policies and Procedures

Every organisation employing five or more people should have an organisation-specific Health & Safety policy. The policy should be revised and updated annually. It should include the organisation's general commitment to Health & Safety; details of people in the organisation with Health & Safety responsibilities and specific arrangements relating to the health, safety and general welfare of your staff, visitors and external contractors or suppliers.

We can edit and comment on existing Health & Safety policies and procedures or we can write new ones as required.

Our recent policies and procedures work has included:

  • Company Health & Safety policies
  • Homeworker policy
  • Policy for works in asbestos areas
  • New and expectant mothers
  • Events on the premises
  • Cycling to work
  • Procedures in the event of fire
  • Control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH)
  • Loneworking
  • Alcohol and drugs
  • Security
