Project Objectives
- Vacate two out of seven floors so that vacant floors can be re-let
- Move to total open plan and more flexible working arrangements
- Creation of more meeting spaces (closed and open)
- Reduction of storage furniture on site
- Redeployment of existing furniture in conjunction with new desk high personal storage units to increase ownership of storage and to extend the work surface area
- Creation of quiet rooms and telephone rooms on every floor
- New flexible break-out furniture for every team
- Introduction of hot desking and desk-sharing for appropriate teams
- Improve co-location of teams
- Improve cross-team communication
- Project implementation with business as usual status for the organisation
WorkPlace Scope of Work
- Plan move programme in consultation with Kinnarps and client team
- Develop implementation strategy taking into account no existing swing space
- Project manage the move of over 700 people around their existing building in a series of phased moves
- Liaise with Kinnarps to co-ordinate relocation of existing furniture and installation of new as part of each move
- Liaise with Mitie for construction works (removing office partitioning, constructing meeting rooms and making good) as part of each move
